Training Partners! Class tonight!!

So....today class was pretty awesome as usual. I ate a turkey sandwich before I went and didnt really hydrate all that well....not good on taking care of myself today. BUT during class I worked some KOB (Knee on Belly) positions and shot some submissions from there. We also worked on preventing the double underpass after guard is broken. I got a couple DVD's so that I can work on Tornado guard stuff. Ty Cyborg!!! Lol, he is awesome. During the competition class though, I rolled with one of my training partners, one that I usually stay away from due to his brute force tactics.  We were supposed to be drilling some back mount escapes. It was almost like a game....you take my back...you win....I recover guard/half guard...i win. He got super aggressive when I kept getting guard back, and when I asked him to chill a little he said "Nope, not gonna happen, I practice like I compete." Was kind of aggravating cuz I have another tournament in less than 2 weeks, and the last thing I need is to get hurt IN THE GYM, BY A TRAINING PARTNER....childish. There is a lesson here, stay away from people who are going to hurt you, or aren't willing to learn and just want to "Win". Remember you can "win"  even when you "lose". Really comes down to what you end up taking away from the experience.
